Diana previously served as Senior Vice President of Cybersecurity Strategy at the Bank of America leading strategic planning, business optimization, and analysis of cyber threats and risk for the Global Information Security division, a $700+ million division of the Bank.
Prior positions included 11 years in the national security field at the National Security Agency (NSA) and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI). Diana served in various cyber strategy, policy, and governance positions involving planning for countering offensive cyber attacks, a legislative fellowship on Capitol Hill developing cybersecurity legislation, and serving as NSA’s Chief of Information Assurance at the Pentagon. While at ODNI, Diana led programs to build innovative technology solutions, including the intelligence community’s early cloud-infrastructure implementation.
Diana is an educator who served as an Adjunct Instructor at the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC) teaching in their Cybersecurity Graduate program. She holds degrees from National Defense University, Master of Arts in Strategic Security Studies, and UMBC, Bachelor of Science in Information Systems Management. She is also the recipient of two prestigious national intelligence awards—the National Intelligence Certificate and National Intelligence Meritorious Unit Citation. In the future, Diana is looking forward to applying her knowledge in the field of cybersecurity to mentor and encourage young people, especially women, to join this exciting and growing career field, along with sharing wisdom with businesses as an investor and Board representative.
